Classic Wedding Venue
Fingals is a classic Devon manor farmhouse in a very rural location.
We are a small, family-run hotel - the perfect venue for a very individual, unique, informal wedding.
Our food is all locally sourced and we have an excellent French chef.
There are 10 bedrooms and the folly which is the perfect place for a romantic honeymoon night, an indoor/outdoor heated swimming-pool, sauna & jacuzzi and a grass tennis court.
The flat croquet lawn outside the French window of the bar takes a marquee (for around 120 with a dance floor). With the sides up in the warm months the tent would be surrounded by the flowers in the beautiful garden.
St George’s Church in Dittisham is a beautiful little Norman church overlooking the river Dart and is just a short walk away or St Petrocs Church at the mouth of the River Dart is equally romantic and just a short boat ride away.
Richard and Sheila Johnston run the hotel as their home.
